I've become more and more enraged at this story. Watching actors on T.V. talking about a "witch hunt" and saying that he has in some way "suffered" or paid his debt to society somehow is sickening. Because Polanski is famous he somehow doesn't fit...

the author proposes a dichotomy between helping the victim and pursuing the criminal. this to me suggests justice reform, not the abandonment of the pursuit.
