Hello all,
I'm back frSt. John's, very happy to be home....been awhile since I have been home it seems. Excited about Audience of Chairs written & directed by Rosemary House, we hope to be filming the summer of 2009! Lots of work seems to be emerging.
Glad to be back on the 48th.... exciting times we have coming our way, please the goddess Harper won't get a majority government.

Looking forward to seeing all the new posting. on the 48th.

Reading the Globe & Mail today, I finally realized @ 45 I need glasses... print is too small!

At 45 I finally realize that I have to wear glasses to read the phone book, the news papers, menus or my blackberry (which by the way I gave up for over a year), now I affectionally call it my crackberry! World blackberry that is ... so anyone can reach me at any time, as long as my computer isn't filled with spam, and guess what if you have a IBM you are totally filled with spam. Mary's Journey on the road with Canadian Idol

Well this is my first blog... wow technology... it wasn't too good to me yesterday when I sent the invite to my entire yahoo account. I am truly sorry about that, today is a much better day, thank the godess!


Anyhoo the Idol tour survived Edmonton it was -44 weather, never got to see much of the city, cause most of the time was spent in a room listening to all the hopefulls that want to be the next Canadian Idol, lots of good talents so that always good, got a few to pick from.

Oh super! Lois just wrote actually and she is writing the new series and of course you are in every episode! Meanwhile the Women's Festival is taking it to show in episodic form every night of the festival (I think) so there you will be again! Our name was inspired by a survey of elected women in governments worldwide showing Canada in the disappointing position of #48. And over the past two years we've dropped to 50 and risen to 47....
We're a politically motivated, artistically driven platform for feminists interested in challenging the status quo.
We invite filmmakers, artists and activists to express themselves and contribute their art and ideas.
We're committed to showcasing female artists and to connecting with women around the world.
We believe we have a responsibility to support womens' struggle for human rights and equality globally.
We also believe in using art and entertainment to mix it up in the political world.
