Yes you would think so!! Very strange - I think this is an example of socialist politics being put before women's rights but it's always so disheartening when feminist organizations are the ones who do it!

Thanks. I'll fix the link right away. I found it particularly interesting that it was women's groups that were the ones up in arms. Surely the right of the individual to make their own decisions relating to their body and child birth is something they should be defending.

How interesting! In my opinion it's a ridiculous overreaction. It wouldn't be me but surely it's the individual woman's decision on when she returns to work. As long as someone's there to take care of the baby. Jeez. The fact that France's MINISTER OF JUSTICE returns to work so quickly hardly means that regular working gals are going to have to do so as well. Come on.
