OH I like your page Salsafras! I am trying to be a little bit more current with the news these days so if you see stuff in your daily wanderings can you send me the link - I know you don't have time to post but I do! xxx
Thanks, Sally! It's nice of you to welcome me.
When I have a little time I plan to check out this site more thoroughly -- it looks very interesting--plenty of good stuff to read & view!

By the way Sally - did you see that I've posted When Women are Crazy? Can you believe that was made 18 years ago - you will get a kick out of seeing it again! mom xx
I was just about to write you to make sure you'd seen the post from Ceri and there you are! Still in Toronto - warmer today thank god and a fairly relaxing day ahead of me. Research etc going well but man you've got to work like a dog to get a meeting with people in this town! Lots of love darling and hope you're having a great weekend! Mom xxx
Give my love to Megan - lucky gal. But soon you'll be visiting me in Paris - I've been planning little day trips - e.g. we could go to Giverny and see Monet's gardens in spring.... in order to post headlines in the International News Text Box on the Main, you go to that text box, click on edit, type in your headline, highlight the headline, then select the link icon and PASTE the link (which you will have copied from the news article) and the link will be active.
There is also a link that you will see throughout the site that turns up under photos, videos, comments etc that says "Feature on Main" and so if you select that the item should show up on the Main.
However, I'm still figuring everything out myself - there are only so many options available. Keep checking around the site and just test things yourself - don't worry if you make a mistake or put something somewhere you don't want it to be because you can always delete. OIr send me a note and I'll take care of it...
But e.g. if you wanted to do a Sally H. Internationalist feature on the Main, then add a Text Box to the Main (you add from Features on the Manage page) and go from there. By the way, Firefox works best to upload photos and also for blogging - Safari doesn't give all the options... but Firefox doesn't allow you to paste links. It's a lot of trial and error!
Thanks darling for posting this important article. It's exactly what the 48th is here for. ANd that is such a sadly true comment - that fear and chaos breeds hatred of those who are different from us....
The text box is the one that says Your 48th Parallel Project Box.... I keep making the same mistake which is posting a comment to someone else on my own page and I don't think it goes out then... like writing on your own wall.....
Hi darling: (not sure if this message has already reached you) I've posted the link on the main page. I'm not sure what is available to members as far as posting goes, but you post a link in a text box (you can do it no problem on your member page) by first clicking on Edit at the right hand corner of the box, typing say: "BBC News UK- Ghanian Woman Deported, then highlight that text, then click on the little icon for links and a box will appear and you paste the proper html link in there, then click save... try it and let me know if it works.... another snowy day here. Aaaargh! Mom xx
Hi all,
just an update to say that Cherie Pyne has gracefully accepted to be the producer on my very first album "When Women Kill". It's a mix of songs dealing with when women kill others with intention, or unintentionally, or themselves. Fun wha?…
